Connect a FLIR M- or MD-Series camera to a compatible GPSMAP(R) 8000 series Garmin chartplotter with this PoE (Power over Ethernet) isolation coupler. The coupler provides connectivity to the Garmin Marine Network; without it the network will not function correctly and could possibly damage your Garmin unit and/or PoE device.
